# Where do I find apcupsd

I installed a Schneider APC UPS and to monitor the UPS status I need apcupsd. This does not seem to be in the Rocky repositories

```auto
dnf whatprovides apcupsd
Last metadata expiration check: 3:36:59 ago on Tue 16 Apr 2024 05:05:17 PM.
Error: No matches found. If searching for a file, try specifying the full path or using a wildcard prefix ("*/") at the beginning

```

There are a couple of post here about running it so I suspect a missing repository but I don’t know how to resolve that. locate apcupsd finds a number of references but not the module.

```
