Any body know , where from i can download usb\_modeswitch rpm by Rocky 10 ? ---

There’s a request to provide usb\_modeswitch for EPEL: > **[2368942 – please branch and build usb\_modeswitch in epel10](https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2368942)** But no one seems to be working on it. ---

The request for a Rocky Linux 10 usb\_modeswitch package makes sense, especially with the EPEL tracking issue linked above. It would be useful to know whether the current EPEL10 build is blocked on a maintainer or just waiting for testing. In the meantime, are you looking for a package for a specific USB device or a general installation source? ---

I’ve just downloaded the Fedora Source rpms from here: [Fedora Source rpms](https://src.fedoraproject.org/projects/rpms/%2A) Then we build with mock: ```auto mock -r rocky+epel-10-x86_64 --installdeps usb_modeswitch-2.6.2-4.fc43.src.rpm mock -r rocky+epel-10-x86_64 usb_modeswitch-2.6.2-4.fc43.src.rpm ``` then copy the rpms from `/var/lib/mock/rocky+epel-10-x86_64/result/*.rpm` to a safe place before we continue. Then let’s build the usb\_modeswitch-data rpms: ```auto mock -r rocky+epel-10-x86_64 --installdeps usb_modeswitch-data-20191128-14.fc43.src.rpm mock -r rocky+epel-10-x86_64 usb_modeswitch-data-20191128-14.fc43.src.rpm ``` Again, copy from the above location.
