Still no luck below are the commands used in Ubuntu 20.04 post this we are able to communicated to repos for updates FYI.:
$ sudo apt-get install -y ca-certificates
$ sudo cp local-ca.crt /usr/local/share/ca-certificates
$ sudo update-ca-certificates
