# Rocky 9.8 ISO and mismatch of package (flatpak)

Just wondering if the package mismatch of flatpak ended up in the official Rocky 9.8 ISO? Will there be a new ISO?

Of course it will be on the iso, since both ISO and repo’s will have the same version when Rocky 9.8 was released. I doubt very much they will re-release the ISO, since once installed you should be doing `dnf update` anyway. Otherwise, every bug fix or new package update would mean generating yet another ISO which isn’t done. Even RH don’t do that. There is the initial base ISO at time of release, and that is all.
