On jaguar with is running 8.6 I keep getting a message at times referring to a **" Soft Lockup Bug"**. Dose it lockup my machine? YES!! But there is nothing “soft” about it. Does any know what this “Soft lockup bug” is?? Is there any way to KILL it?? Will a can of Industrial Strength RAID! kill it? ---

Maybe this will help: [What are all these "Bug: soft lockup" messages about? | Support | SUSE](https://www.suse.com/support/kb/doc/?id=000018705) Yes, I know it’s a SUSE article, but it might help. You may want to see if something (program/process) was overloading your CPU during this time as well. Some other posts I found (HPE) hint it could be hardware-related also. ---
