I am currently running KDE. I have tried to install the Nvidia Drivers both via the automated cut-‘n’-paste method, and via the downloading the driver doing the install etc., etc, etc. Nothing seems to work. I end up with a a system that shrinks my 1920x1080 BenQ monitor at 60 Hz => 1024x768 maximum resolution that can not identify the monitor as a BenQ, and lists the frequency as being 0 Hz.
Has anyone else run into this problem in installing the Nvidia Drivers, and if so how did you solve it… IF you solved it. If you DID solve it, how did you do it?
