Hi all, After I update RockyLinux yesterday, my forticlient VPN stopped working. It kept saying “backup route table failed”. What forti package are you using? Are you using the ones available in Rocky or something else? I used to use openfortivpnclient or whatever it’s called but had problems with it, so now use the Network Manager plugins, are far better. Although I use Fedora, so there are also additional plugins available like the OpenConnect ones. ---

My version is FortiClient 7.2. Yesterday I managed to make it work with static IP. However, DHCP still doesn’t work. Not sure why. DHCP worked before I updated Rocky 8. ---

Well according to here there is a new one: [https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads/linux](https://www.fortinet.com/support/product-downloads/linux) for 7.4. However, if you are having problems with that you will have to ask Fortinet. Had you been using the NetworkManager plugin I might have been able to help. I don’t use the one that Fortinet supplies, mainly because I could never get it installed on Fedora or Linux Mint when I was using that distribution. You may wish to install the Network Manager packages and try that instead. ---
