# Darkateble issue on gnome

Hi, i’m trying rocky linux on virtual machine and with rockylinux workstation using gnome when i open darktable i can’t see the fonts only cubes, i tried so the minimal installation with xfce and worked out of the box,maybe missing some fonts i’m guessing

Hi @aleda,  
this is a issue of the flatpak runtime, see more information here about that:

yeah i’m using flatpak,i’ll wait the 9.2 version hope will be fixed too, in the meantime i could try that workaround, thanks
